Alvarado Day Camp

Alvarado Day Camp is a cooperative, volunteer run Girl Scout camp in the Berkeley hills. Program includes outdoor skills, hiking, nature, songs and games. Life-long Girl Scout friends are made at Alvarado Day Camp!

Berkeley Albany Day Camp

Run by the Berkeley & Albany association

Location: Tilden Park, Berkeley

Theme: Enchantment in the Outdoors

Activities include crafts, nature-related projects, hikes, singing, science experiments, and outdoor cooking and learning about Girl Scout traditions and sharing many timeless camping traditions. Programming goes from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. daily with the exception of Thursday. For those girls who are interested and have completed second grade, we hold an overnight.

Coyote Hills Day Camp

Our day camp meets 9:00 - 3:00 Monday through Thursday. On Friday camp starts at 3:00 pm. The Brownies will have a family gathering in the evening and go home by 9:00 pm. The Juniors will be spending the night under the stars and going home Saturday morning at 10:00.

Diablo Day Camp

Run by Cresta Blanca, Crossroads, Diablo Shadows, East Contra Costa, Lafayette, Las Trampas, Orinda-Moraga, Pleasant Hill, San Ramon and Walnut Creek associations

Location: Camp Twin Canyon, Lafayette (9 weeks), Little Hills Ranch, San Ramon (1 week)
Dates: June 16 - August 15, 2008 (one week sessions)

Diablo Day Camp is operated by the volunteer efforts of 10 local Girl Scout Associations and offers week-long sessions with varying themes throughout the summer. Each session offers a variety of activities such as archery, swimming, nature, crafts and, at the Camp Twin Canyon site only; girls cook their own lunch which makes DDC day camp at this site unique in the area. All camp staff are volunteers and all interested adults are welcome--no experience necessary!

Diamond Crest Day Camp

Theme: Travelin' Across the USA Girls will have fun solving geography based clues to discover the mystery state of the day. Crafts, recipes, songs - all will help learn about the mystery state. Girls will earn a patch for each mystery state. Swim day for all and overnight for older girls (Juniors and above) included.

Marin County Girl Scout Day Camp

Theme: TBD Our summer day is operated by the volunteer efforts of 3 local Girl Scout associations in Marin County, to provide great Girl Scout program for girls. Archery, swimming, outdoor cooking, hiking, traditional Girl Scout program, singing, hiking, arts and crafts, new friends and fun! We also offer volunteers pixie and tag units for their 3-5 year old kids and 5-12 year old boys, and, an excellent program aide training program during session 1 of camp.

Peninsula Girl Scout Day Camp is a ten day adventure in the out-of-doors in beautiful Huddart Park. Activities include outdoor skills, hiking, singing, cooking, crafts, sleeping under the stars and making new friends.

Galileo Summer Day Camps

Galileo Educational Services is providing special opportunities for Girl Scouts this summer---scholarships for Girl Scouts to attend Camp Galileo & The Tech Museum Summer Camps (visit www.galileoed.com/scholarships to apply.
