Hidden in the hills of Marin County, surrounded by towering redwoods, is a special place called Camp Bothin. Camp Bothin offers traditional camp programs as well as specialize programs in backpacking, drama, ecology, cooking and more!

Summer Camp at Camp Bothin
From June to September, Girls entering grades 1-9 can choose from general program or specialty programs, such as drama or stage production, nature exploration, outdoor cooking, leadership, science, arts & crafts, and more.

Camp Site Rental
Camp Bothin is available year round for Girl Scout groups, and others interested in all that camp has to offer. Come discover 196 acres of forested hills surrounding two secluded valleys less than two miles from the town of Fairfax.
Swimming is offered for an additional fee June 1 through October 15. (Pool users need to provide their own lifeguard, who must be approved by the council office.) Other activities include nature exploration, stargazing, sports, hiking and outdoor cooking.
The dormitory-style sleeping arrangements with flush toilets and showers are ideal for first-time campers. There is also limited outdoor camping.
An on-site camp host is available to provide program activities with prior arrangements and for an added fee.

Camp Bothin Girl Scout Museum
Visit the now open Camp Bothin Girl Scout Museum! Troop tours are provided (with advanced notice) by members of the Heritage Committee, a group of volunteers dedicated to preserving the history of Girl Scouting and sharing it with today’s Girl Scouts. An excellent collection of Girl Scout memorabilia, photographs, historic uniforms and artifacts is housed in this museum. Contact the Marketing and Communication Department (800) 447-4475 to set up a tour.
