Get Involved on Your Schedule
You want to help out in your daughter's troop, but with your busy schedule you don't think you have the time. There is hope: you don't have to be a leader, you don't even have to be an official volunteer. There are many ways you can help that don't require a lot of time.
The easiest thing you can do is to get in contact with your daughter's troop leader, and ask if there is any way you can help on your time. You could organize a phone tree, or carpool to meetings, help raise funds for the troop, or just thank your troop leader on April 22, Leader Appreciation Day. Be open to the possibilities, but most importantly be your daughter's biggest fan.
If you would like to be more involved, and work directly with girls other then your own, you must complete the volunteer screening process, and you may need to sign up for additional training.
